A bus line 260 running every hour directly from the Salzburg airport to Zell am See.
The route takes under two hours. The price of the ticket is 15 EUR. The ticket can be purchased online on Salzubrg Verkeht.
Alternatively, it's possible to use a direct train connection from the Salzburg city centre Main Station (Hauptbahnhof). The train runs every 30-90 minutes and takes under 2 hours as well. The tickets can be bought on the OBB website and the price starts at 17 EUR one way.
There are no Uber, Bolt or Lyft taxi app services in Zell am See
Zell am See is a town that is easy to walk around on your foot.
The Postbus service is free with your lift pass if you are skiing. This links the town with the ski station and other areas, such as Kaprun. Routes start at the Postplatz bus station in the centre of town.
